Director Statement

This film is a personal story of my 15-year journey fighting for my son Antonio to be included in all areas of society. It describes how my perspective evolved about people who have (dis)ABILITIES, and how I continue to educate and influence our communities to make informed decisions and take intentional actions to include people of all abilities.

This is my first film about dis(ABILITY) inclusion. It is a labor of love, made on a shoestring budget, with a lot of help from people who know way more about video, sound, and film production than I ever will. The team that helped get this film made all have a connection to a person with a (dis)ABILITY and desire to live in a more inclusive world.
