You Are Not Alone

You Are Not Alone is a short documentary about a collaborative, mixed media art project started in 2019 by Samantha Schutz and Annica Lydenberg. Their project, You are Not Alone Murals, was created to connect and provide community and support for individuals living with mental health challenges and the people that love them.

This film is our contribution to a project created and sustained by hundreds of talented artists from around the world. We join a rising movement to reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness, to ignite supportive conversations, and show everyone who struggles with mental illness that there are people available to help.

Director Biography - Kelly Schaber

Kelly Schaber is a documentary filmmaker and Co-founder of Folktale Creative, LLC., an Austin, Texas based film production company. Kelly has a passion for illuminating social causes; she weaves themes of access to art, culture, education, mental health resources, and creative storytelling into all of her projects.

She is a proud first-generation college graduate and University of Texas at Austin alumni (Hook‘ Em!). She holds a Masters of Arts in Human Dimensions of Organizations; a degree that draws on disciplines in the humanities and social and behavioral sciences to understand the behavior, inspirations, and motivations of people.
