Yolanda Orozco is an independent Mexican-German film director and screenwriter. Since she was a child she has been strongly attracted to the arts, especially film, music, and painting. She learned to paint on a self-taught basis and had several painting exhibitions in Mexico and Denmark. She studied graphic design and music (violin and piano) in her hometown Guadalajara. After her music studies, she continued to have a strong passion for film, which led her to make her first short film in 2009 (Memoria Indelible). That same year she was admitted to a film master's program in Madrid, Spain with a scholarship that was awarded to fifteen students from all over Latin America. In this way, she was able to combine two of her biggest dreams, which were to study film and go to Europe. After finishing her master's degree in Spain, she started a second one also related to cinema, one part in Denmark and another part in Germany, where she settled down. Since then she has made several short films as part of her studies in the master's program, as well as two more with the support and subsidy of the German state (Don Ruperto) and the current one (Liebeskoma).

She currently lives in Leipzig and works as an independent filmmaker and visual artist.
