Yavuz Selim Taşçıoğlu was born in 1991, in Turkey / Rize. He graduated from Erciyes University Radio Cinema Television department and his master's degree in Maltepe University Cinema Television Department.
Continuing his PhD in cinema at Maltepe University. Also working Turkish Airlines at Corparete Communication department. Varosha; The Story of the Ghost City, Son of the Mountains, and SIMURG is the others documentary he directed.
