In a part of middle east in eastern and northern Kurdistan lives a group of people who have their own religion and perform their prayers and worship god using tanbur. Tanbur is an old musical instrument that has its own special ritual of crafting. Yar talks about the process of crafting the Tanbur and how it is used for religious ritual of the Yarsans.

Aram Hassan is a Kurdish filmmaker and director from Sulaymaniyah. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Cinematography from the University of Sulaimani and a Master's degree in Cinema from the University of Tehran Currently, he is a lecturer in the Cinema Department at the University of Sulaimani.
From a young age, Aram Hassan has been passionate about working in media. He began his career at an early age as a designer and editor. Later, he worked as the head of the documentary department for a non-governmental organization, with the goal of archiving the culture and heritage of Kurdistan.
As a director and producer, he has created more than five short documentary films and three short fiction films about the social and religious traditions of Kurdistan.
