Xaren

Francisco Hafid Rogero nace en Aguascalientes, desde los 14 años comienza a crear cortometrajes de manera amateur, a los 17 años gana un concurso a nivel nacional organizado por Imcine con el cortometraje Intolerante (2006) escrito y dirigido por él, después gana el concurso Ideas en Corto Telcel con el cortometraje Sin Saldo (2009) escrito y dirigido por él, funda junto a su esposa la casa productora Flashback Producciones trabajando para grandes marcas como Telcel y para los gobiernos de Aguascalientes, escribe y dirige su ópera prima “La Productora de mi Vida” (2020) estrenada en Claro Video, Prime Video y varias plataformas más. Ha dirigido los cortometrajes "acHe", "Tiempo al tiempo", "Puerca", "Réquiem por un huevo", "Qué culpa tiene el corto?" y "Xaren" para Chavoruco Films, con los cuales han participado en el 48 Hour Film Project México, teniendo participaciones destacadas.

Francisco Hafid Rogero was born in Aguascalientes. At the age of 14, he began creating short films on an amateur basis. By 17, he won a national competition organized by IMCINE with the short film Intolerant (2006), which he wrote and directed. He later won the Ideas en Corto Telcel competition with No Credit (Sin Saldo, 2009), also written and directed by him.

He went on to found the production company Flashback Producciones, working with major brands such as Telcel and with the government of Aguascalientes. He wrote and directed his debut feature film, The Producer of My Life (La Productora de mi Vida, 2020), which premiered on Claro Video, Prime Video, and other platforms.

He has also directed the short films acHe, In Due Time (Tiempo al tiempo), Sow (Puerca), Requiem for an Egg (Réquiem por un huevo), What’s the Short Film’s Fault? (¿Qué culpa tiene el corto?), and Xaren for Chavoruco Films. These works have been featured in the 48 Hour Film Project Mexico, earning notable recognition.
