X II XVI
A tarotist has an unexpected premonition with an appointed querent.
Summary: A middle aged woman seemingly finds her way to a tarot reading. As a querent, she seeks answers from a tarotist regarding her daughter only to learn that the cards have an unsettling impact on her. Perplexed and anguished by the reading she seeks refuge in her state of panic. The disconcerting experience leaves the tarotist puzzled as he follows her out. After taking a moment to think about the reading he is surprised to hear a knock on the door. As the tarotist opens the door he is greeted by someone he is already familiar with, or so it seems. Did the message in the tarot reading evoke the answer his querent was searching for?

Best Actor in a Short Film Award
My name is Jason Pfister and I wrote 'X II XVI'. My passion lies within creating moving pictures. I enjoy acting, writing and directing film content that jerks at the heartstrings. My filmmaking experience is slowly blossoming and I hope to expand into more feature length projects. Originally from Minnesota, I moved out to Los Angeles to further my career and ambitions within the entertainment industry. I have always believed in seeing a vision come to life through a camera lens stemming from my early childhood. My goal is to share these visions with people in all walks of life because telling a story is sometimes the best medicine there is.
Making a vision come to life.
