Wrinkled

Wrinkled is an animated short, where the main character (the narrator) tells his childhood story of what he wanted to be when he grows up, through the art of origami. In his path he often went through changes and hesitation between what he should be and what he wants to be. He starts learning from his grandfather with flight as a metaphor for freedom and happiness, and wrinkles as a metaphor for too much changes.

Director Biography - Goran Dimov

Goran Dimov

Goran Dimov is CGI artist, currently based in Skopje, Macedonia. His passion for film and mostly animation started in high school years and has grown while experimenting with 3D software. In 2012 he graduated industrial design on the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Skopje and started working for Fx3x Studio as a VFX/3D artist, mostly on movie projects. This was the beginning of his professional career as CGI artist. In 2018 he joined new formed marketing production studio AD+VENTURE in Skopje. Wrinkled is his first animated short together with Ilija Gjorgjiev, and probably first of many to come.

Ilija Gjorgjiev

Ilija Gjorgjiev is a CGI artist currently based in Skopje, Macedonia. Born in 1990 in Negotino. Since high school he developed strong passion for animation and film, and started learning on his own. First he started working and taking career path in 3d animation in Skopje based studio V-House, working on different TV commercials and animated short films. Now he is working in marketing studio AD+VENTURE as generalist on different projects about 2d and 3d animation, as well as trying to make personal animated shorts.
