Dodging Her Bullet

Dodging Her Bullet is a comedic crime thriller
following a haughty detective named Ed
Wyznewski with the New York City Police
Department. Ed has made one too many enemies
after years on the force. After his request for
early retirement is thwarted by his superiors, he’s
punished by being paired with the partner of his
nightmares. Alexis Janey is a feisty, queer,
millennial rookie detective and she grates on the
curmudgeonly detective’s last nerve. Too bad
there’s a new serial killer in town and it’s up to
the unlikely duo to crack the case.
The series will also follow enigmatic Victoria; a
real estate mogul who is being harassed by the
Albanian Mafia. After Victoria seeks help from Ed
and Alexis, they'll soon come to question who
really needs saving...
An irreverent and provocative tone that brings to mind HBO Max’s THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT meets NO ACTIVITY.

Writer Biography - Richard M Meiman, Johnny JJ Wachter

Rich is an American born writer and actor who has appeared in several, award-winning independent and studio feature films as well as short films directed and produced by some of the world’s biggest up-and- coming filmmakers. He has performed as a principal, supporting and featured actor in Law & Order: SVU, The Carrie Diaries, The Death of Marie, 1.7 Alpha, Homicide City, A Crime to Remember, Under the Table and many others. He is also slated to appear in several productions that are in development.

Jon is a Swedish born writer/director who has both made and appeared in award-winning independent films. Born in Stockholm, Jon’s interest in filmmaking eventually led him to New York where he studied filmmaking at the New York Film Academy. Eventually returning to Stockholm, he has since pursued a career in post-production, freelancing for Freemantle and other post- production, media outlets.
