Women in Movement

"Women in Movement" materializes a living archive, moved by the pressing need for articulation of bodies, struggles and political grammars. The film presents a radical invitation to listening, in which a relational dialogue between theory and practice, private and public, knowledge and experience, domestic and political, thinking and feeling, is continually bridged.

Shot in the cities of Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and Manaus, between May and June 2018, the period following the femicide of Marielle Franco, and in the context leading up to the main Brazilian elections.
