Writer Biography - Jessica Wolf

Jessica Wolf is a Script Writer, Poet and Author with a passion for creating flawed, multidimensional characters and unexpected twists in her stories.
Leaning on her strengths; her complete disregard for bedtime schedules and a mind of endless inspiration, Jessica weaves intricate and powerful tales that leave a lasting impact.
After retiring from the world of competitive dance, Jessica spent her early twenties working as an actor and model in London. It was during this time, when she found herself rushing home from photoshoots so she could work on her latest script idea, that she realised she was in the wrong job. During COVID, she moved to Buckinghamshire with her family, and was able to transition to the world of freelance writing rather smoothly. She now spends her time working on her many creative projects, running her online aromatherapy clinic; The Nature Clinic, and raising her daughter Leena, who at just 12 years old is already a talented and driven animator.

Writer Statement

With a decent supply of mocha and a pen, I craft compelling narratives that explore the depths of human experience and blur lines between realities. Focused on raw and relatable dialogue, characters of complexity and unexpected twists, I'm always looking for new ways to challenge myself as a storyteller.

Some writers that have inspired me include Tim Burton, Alejandro Amenabar, Sarah Pinborough and Luc Besson.
