Director Biography - Piano Whitman

Piano GPV Whitman, born in 1997, is an Italian American visual artist who has a passion for filmmaking. She started working with cameras at age 6, making stop-motion animation videos. In her early teens, she made music videos for her songs and internet videos with her friends. After graduating from high school, she decided to start a production company and pursue a career in filmmaking. Fueled solely by her love for cine cameras and editing, she created abstract short films, some quite uncomfortable. She believes the beauty of filmmaking is the ability to test boundaries and let the viewer discover a part of themselves they previously hadn’t embraced.
