Without Them
In a dystopian future where land is scarce, there are two types; men and flowers. Men are obliged to take care of their pots, which they call 'emptiness', and to fill them with a suitable tree or flower when the time comes. Men, who have control of the land and therefore of the flowers, have the authority to decide when and where their flowers or trees will take root, and under what conditions and conditions they will live. They have no rights.
Even if there is a group of minority men who take action to change this social order and to give flowers various rights before the law, the system they are in does not allow this situation, and heavy penalties are imposed on men who continue these actions. However, what many ignore and forget is; that they need their space to exist.
Çaycı Mustafa (30), who lives with his father in the 6th district, begins to dream of filling his void with a flower he sees on the notice window of the Gap and Matching Administration Board one morning. However, Erdal (32) who sees the advertisement that morning, acts before Mustafa and fills his void with the flower in the advertisement.
On the same day, Mustafa, who sees the flower in Erdal's shop, who has already destroyed a few flowers in order to fill his own void, is sad, thinking that this flower will be wasted like the others.
