I am a lens-based photojournalist & filmmaker based in the DC area. The power of photographs is their ability to halt and expand time, and my aim is to use that to highlight and facilitate experiences of empathy and the feeling of being understood. In particular I am passionate about stories relating to oppression, incarceration, racial identity, and the odd corners of the human experience.
