Roxanne Ducharme, also known as TrashCanRoxanne, is an Emmy® Award-winning French-Canadian artist based in Panama. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Cinema from Concordia University in Montreal.
An animator, creative director, and AI filmmaker with several decades of experience in animation, illustration, and storytelling, her career spans feature films, documentaries, TV series, games, and advertising. Her credits include An American Tail: Fievel Goes West (produced by Steven Spielberg), the Oscar-nominated short The Village, and the beloved series Arthur. Her illustrations have also appeared in animated segments for documentaries on the Science Channel, Discovery Channel, and National Geographic.
Now working at the forefront of AI-driven content creation, she uses generative tools to craft surreal, emotionally resonant worlds marked by a poetic, cinematic style. Blending deep industry expertise with a passion for innovation, she continues to push the boundaries of storytelling in the age of artificial intelligence.
