What inspired me to tell the story of Weary Willie was the controversy and confusion over the identity of the circus clown that continues to today. "Who Is Weary Willie?" blends different forms of media, including video, audio, photography, archival, and animation, to tell a truthful story about identify amidst father and son conflict in the aftermath of World War II.
