Laura is a Canadian filmmaker best known for co-writing and producing the B- slasher film Hostage (2021). She began working as a casting agent’s assistant in 2015, as well as in extras casting where she found extras for film’s shot in or around the Montreal area such as Brad’s Status (2017).
She also collaborates with friends to help them produce their own short films such as Flush (2016) and Fool Me Once. She began taking an interest in telling personal stories. In 2019, a friend encouraged her to come along and interview Montreal playwright, Vittorio Rossi. Together they turned their interview into a documentary entitled The World’s a Stage (2020).
In 2021, her B-horror film, Hostage was released internationally through Terror Films.
