Njaan Ippo Entha Cheyya? An advertising professional for the last 25 years, Vijay Menon currently co-runs a branding and creative agency called THE in Chennai.
On the film front, he has co-written a web series for Zee5 titled ‘High Priestess’ starring Amala Akkineni, Kishore and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar.
Apart from this he has written and directed TVCs, a short film titled ‘The Drive’ that was nominated at the Great Lakes Short Film Festival, USA, and helmed a series of short films featuring women personalities for the Chennai-based luxury brand ‘Kanakavalli’.
In 2020, he did a short film titled ‘Intezaar’, inspired by the cartoon of Brooke Bourgeois in The New Yorker, which was well received and widely covered in the Press.
Ever since the world went under a lockdown in 2020, everyone of us have been living with the constant dilemma of "What do i do now?". This film, uses the lockdown both as a physical event as well as a metaphor in our lives.
