The film is animated entirely inside VR. It's available in different formats including cinema version, binaural VR version, DCP, optional as stereoscopic 3D!
Statement:
"WTII is based on a short comic I did 7 years ago for an indie comic-magazine. I had to draw something on the theme of "X" or "10". I thought about some regrets I had 10 years ago and came up with this partly autobiographical story.
Together with an extremely talented team, we took the idea to another level through the medium of film. It's an indescribable feeling to see this little piece from back then with all its characters suddenly come to life." Piers Goffart
"I feel very connected to the main character of the movie because I know from many personal experiences how difficult it is to find the right words in the right situation when trying to show interest another person." Eric Giessmann
Trivia:
“One last bit of trivia that I thought was worth mentioning that's kind of cool and I think works on a subliminal level: The main music theme for What Time Is It (That can be heard in the opening shots and then at the end in the first Credits Sequence) has a BPM of 60. Yes, that's right, sixty beats per minute, just like a real clock would have. I think this is why the clock ticking effect in those sections works particularly well...because it's at the exact tempo of a real clock “
Paul Gorman
