We will not Hate!
Army presence at the Damascus Gate, stone-throwing youth, and a sunset at the Gaza border fence – these are just a few of the surreal scenes confronting 20 German teenagers in Israel. In a theater project, they aim to bridge the gap between Jewish and Arab youth from Sderot and Rahat. Torn between German responsibility and Muslim background, they seek to explore the question: "Where does the hatred come from?" To do this, they must first understand themselves as a group and what they stand for. A performance in Tel Aviv will determine whether they can succeed in not hating each other.
