Director Statement

Submitting to the KINO Short Film Festival is a full-circle moment in my journey as a creator. As a University of Idaho graduate with degrees in Accounting and Computer Information Systems, I’ve always operated at the intersection of technical precision and creative vision. During my time in Moscow, I had the distinct honor of serving as an ASUI Senator, a position I was elected to largely through the incredible support of the Lionel Hampton School of Music community—many of whom knew me best for my legendary house parties and for founding the campus-wide Spring BBQ and Battle of the Bands.

'King of Jackson Hole' represents the next chapter of that Vandal spirit. It is the debut episode of my Western Wildlife Awareness Series, produced by my studio, Storyforge Imaginarium. This project isn't just a film; it’s a synthetic reconstruction of the Intermountain West’s most iconic, yet threatened, residents. By combining my technical background with original songwriting and 'Hollywood at the speed of AI' production, I am dedicated to bringing high-fidelity awareness to the wildlife of our region. This submission is a tribute to the Moscow community that first fueled my passion for leadership and large-scale storytelling.
