We Sock - end of the world

The story - based on real life events - reflects about the characters ideas about life and their feelings equally during awaken hours as they do in their sleep when having nightmares, which has become the new norm these days. Main characters, Mr & Mrs Sock, are taking a philosophical reflective journey with the spirit of Don Quixote, and discovering amazing things together, looking for an answer to the question: what is the point of all this...life?

Director Biography - Petri Puroaho

I love creating something with zero-budget, with naive but bold and exciting attitude. Few years ago, I started to feel that I have something to say and share to the world through stories, visual arts and music, so I learned by myself all aspects of script writing, making films and composing music.
Since the start I have completed philosophical sport-documentary ”M for...” (2019), dramatic sports-shortfilm ”Sport(ables) (2020), cultural music-videos ”Depress devestation” (2020) and ”Nae yuilhan” (2021), comedic web-series with 4 seasons ”We Sock” (2020-2022) that eventually turned into horror-special ”The Night of We Sock fright” (2022) and a feature film ”We Sock – the movie” (2022).

Then I turned my focus on more serious and dramatic issues, like and employment -documentary ”The Disassociate” (2022), shortfilm "EnaMOREd" (2023) that explored the relationship between reality vs. dreams and shortfilm ”Tabu cocktail” (2024) that reflected about memories when getting married. All these projects were based on true stories.

Then I returned to my fun side and did a fan-comedy-parody -shortfilm "Indyana Jones - end of the world" (2024). I continued on this path and I will be releasing We Sock – season 5 -webseries episodes (2025) and a feature film ”We Sock – end of the world” (2025) that is a continuement of my Indy-spoof shortfilm and based on webseries episodes .

And I am always planning for my next project, next soundtrack and next film.
