Jilian Tolzmann is an actor, musician and filmmaker. As a producer she’s a co-creator of The Reel Ones Productions; a production company run by Vancouver teens to explore the art of filmmaking. Her creative journey started at the age of three when she started piano, since then she’s acquired many creative experiences such as dance, choral singing, art and musical theatre.
Jun Yan Shen is an artist with talent capturing stories behind a camera. Other than cinematography she’s an excellent photographer and visual artist. Outside of creating she enjoys reading.
The goal of this film was to explore the prompt ‘nostalgia’ in a collective memory we all have perspectives on, the COVID pandemic. With each time jump we are able to look back on different eras of the pandemic and how perhaps naive we were. It will be interesting to look back on this film in a few years as we really don’t know what’s coming.
