This 35-minute film takes you on our journey through the Alps.
What began as a dream to paddleboard on high-altitude, difficult-to-reach Alpine lakes became a battle against the elements, mechanics, and myself. Heavy snow, stormy rain and winds, mental exhaustion – the challenges were numerous. But I had a goal: to paddleboard on these idyllic locations and collect water samples to investigate whether these hidden places are still free from plastic.
This documentary is more than just a cozy travel log. It's a call to action to fight for clean water, and the personal story of Wim Pyl's path to this challenging expedition through some of Europe's most pristine environments.
