War in Ukraine through the Eyes of Europeans

The author's documentary art musical story, which conceptualizing the events of current Russian-Ukrainian war and its possible consequences; short meter (in prospect up to 25 minutes), which will demonstrate to the world the range of opinions of ordinary Europeans who by the will of the Russian aggressor are in a state on the eve of World War III.

Original songs based on the poems of world-famous Ukrainian poets - Lina Kostenko, Lesya Ukrainka, Taras Shevchenko, Ivan Franko, Pavlo Tychyna, etc., and translated into English, will demonstrate to the whole world the unique image of the statehood of Ukraine and Ukrainians as a nation capable of stand to the end in the fierce struggle for democracy and freedom.

Collection of oral evidence of direct (in Ukraine) or indirect eyewitnesses of this brutal war (in Europe), the author's artistic musical and poetic interpretation of events, intellectual reflection - i.e. awareness and rethinking of one's own actions that make up the content of intellectual activity - all this will give a special meaning to described events.

Director Statement

People who have been staying in Ukraine while in the war and are not going anywhere, they are called people-roots lighthouse people, anchor people. We support our country, and the country supports us. We are her heart and her soul. Ukraine reciprocates us. We will simply die without her, and she will die without us.
Someone said that art helps us to live in the hours of peace, and in the hours of war - to survive. Without looking at the explosions and air raid sirens, we create music and movies; write scripts and paintings. We must help everyone we can. We live. We are all needed. Everyone is in their place. There are no extras people. Just find a place for yourself and it will be easier for you. The author of this project, being in Ukraine from the first day of the brutal invasion, like many other people of art, each in our own way, we continue to participate in the social and creative life of the country, trying, to the extent of our own strength and capabilities, to be useful in achieving great the goal is to defeat the invader.
