Yonash was born in Czechoslovakia, now known as the Czech Republic, in 1986. Heʼd undergone two surgeries, escaped communism, and was locked in jail by the age of 3 years old. Yes, 3. He gained strength through his mother and creativity through their experiences. Having family in Michigan, just 45 minutes outside of Chicago, they moved to the midwest. Through his teens, Yonash grew into a singer/songwriter. Even though music was his first love, moving to LA in 2009, turned his focus to the silver screen. While in the city of dreams, he wasted no time getting involved with anything and everything involved with the film making process. Within a couple years, the stories he wanted to tell werenʼt being told,
and thatʼs where he fell in love again. Although heʼs written an arsenal of scripts, Yonash chose to take you on a “Walk of Shame” with his directorial debut.
Why “Walk of Shame”?
“Iʼve had friends speak to me about this very subject. It tore me up inside to know that the main reason they didnʼt want to tell anyone for months, even years, about the experience was because they were ashamed.”
