Director Biography - César Augusto Fión Góngora

César Fión Góngora is an award-winning director and sound mixer whose work has graced screens across the globe, from Italy and the United Kingdom to the United States, Mexico, and his native Guatemala. In 2016, he founded his production company, "Calavera Film", in Guatemala, where he began carving his path as a filmmaker. Seeking to deepen his craft, he later moved to Los Angeles to study screenwriting while continuing to pursue his passion for sound mixing.

A storyteller at heart, César is always in search of the next tale to bring to life. He thrives on exploring diverse genres, weaving narratives that resonate deeply with audiences. He firmly believes in the transformative power of cinema—the ability to challenge perspectives, inspire change, and reshape how people see the world and themselves.

Director Statement

Bringing this project to life has been a dream come true. As a lifelong Wolfenstein fan, the chance to translate one of my favorite video games into a live-action film was an incredible opportunity—one I knew I had to seize. This journey has been months in the making, evolving through ten different versions of the script, two intense days of shooting, and two and a half months of meticulous post-production work.

This vision would never have been possible without the dedication and talent of the amazing cast and crew who brought their all to this project. For their support, I will forever be grateful.
