1. What do you hope the audience takes away from your film?
I hope the audience reflects on the emotions we often ignore but never escape—guilt, shame, desire, and distrust.The protagonist is once again forced to make a choice, standing before a door.All he hears is a single line: “Will you come up?”But within that gentle invitation may lie temptation, a trap, or something sincere.This film doesn’t provide clear answers.Instead, it asks how easily we doubt, and how quickly we brand someone with a label they can never shake off.

2. Where did the inspiration for the story come from?
It all began with the sound of a cat—present but never seen.That invisible presence became a metaphor for stigma, fear, and the complexity of the human psyche.Then came the question:“If someone’s life was ruined by a single mistake, could society ever offer them another chance?”This film follows the fragile heart of a man standing at the edge of that question, uncertain whether to trust again—or retreat into fear.

3. What are the core themes of this film, and how do they relate to our lives and society?
The core themes of Will You Come Up? are social stigma, distrust, and the ambiguity of human nature.Can someone who has fallen from grace ever love—or be trusted—again?How long do we remember someone's past,and at what point do we begin to question their kindness?
This is the story of a man standing once again in front of a door—haunted by an unforgiven past, longing for connection,yet trapped in a society that breeds suspicion and fear.
It reflects our own lives.We are constantly faced with choices.Some of them save us.Others open doors we can never close again.

4. Were there any unexpected, unusual, or interesting moments during production, or what was the biggest challenge you faced while making this film?

The biggest challenge during production was making the audience believe in a cat that never appears on screen.Through sound design, silence, and subtle eye movements from the actors,we aimed to create a psychological presence.
The most fascinating moment came after a screening,when some viewers said, "The cat was in the film, right?"
That moment confirmed for me that the horror worked not through what was shown,but through what was felt and imagined.
