WAWAWA: Cheng Pao’s Farm

Cheng Pao's family farm is home to many animals and grows various delicious fruits and vegetables. There are plenty of fun activities to do on the farm. First, Cheng Pao catches crickets in the vegetable garden to feed the chickens. Then, he collects eggs from the chicken coop and picks tomatoes from the outside. With these ingredients, he can make a tasty pizza. Cheng Pao even chops wood himself, using the firewood to bake the pizza. Although he works up a sweat by the oven, Cheng Pao feels proud when he shares the pizza he made with his grandmother.

Director Statement

1. Encourage children to spend time outdoors and develop "wildness" and resilience.

Encouraging children to engage in outdoor activities helps them develop their "wildness" and resilience. Spending time in nature, exploring and experiencing the elements, allows children to build physical and mental strength. It fosters a sense of adventure, problem-solving skills, and adaptability. Through outdoor activities, children learn to overcome challenges, develop self-confidence, and appreciate the beauty of the natural world.

2. Let children inspire each other; peers are the best friends and role models.

In the program, children showcase their happiness and abilities, which can be truly inspiring for young viewers. Seeing their peers accomplishing tasks, exploring new things, and having fun can encourage and motivate children to pursue their own passions and goals. When children observe the achievements and capabilities of their peers, they may feel inspired to challenge themselves, try new activities, and develop their own unique talents. Peers can become not only great friends but also role models for each other, fostering a positive and supportive environment for growth and development.
