ঢেউ (Waves)

Synopsis:
Taking birth, getting into the rhythm of existence, struggling, sharing the ripened fruits and then to die; The everyday life around the Ghats of Kolkata mirrors the rhythmic nature of waves of the Ganga.
This film is an observational study about how life, if we see keenly in our vicinity itself gets affected and becomes a reflection of a larger world’s socio-economic and political situations. The world where we refuse to see the realities which aren’t suitable to our preconceived notions, ঢেউ (Waves) is an attempt to show the existing lives of the place as the way they are.
