**WATERBUS** was presented in premiere in italian language on July 31, 2023 through a YouTube film presentation in Rome.
In October 2023, *WATERBUS* received **9 international honors** at the **Good Vibes International Film Festival** in India, including recognition in the categories of *Best Documentary* and *Best Short Film under 5 Minutes* screened in Italian language.
In 2024, *WATERBUS* was officially registered for the **David di Donatello Awards** – Accademia del Cinema Italiano.
The project was also featured in the international book:
**“Beyond Hollywood: The Top Independent Creators of 2024”**
distributed by **FilmmakerLife Hollywood, California (USA)** and internationally published in several countries.
In 2025, *WATERBUS* won the **Best Trailer Award** at the **Veneto International Film Festival**, while director **Silvia Busacca** received a nomination for **Best Director – Short Documentary 2026**.
The film was also officially featured at the **Roma Short Film Festival 2025**, selected and published by the **Tokyo Short Film Festival 2025** in Japan, and featured in **Rome Cinephilia Magazine 2025**.
Among its international recognitions, *WATERBUS* reached the **final stage of the Singapore Film & Script Festival** in Singapore and was selected for the **Alpine International Film Festival 2026** in Bern, Switzerland, online edition.
The project continues its international journey through cinema, visual storytelling and cultural memory inspired by Venice and its poetic atmosphere.
