Experiencing Interruptions?

Voyager

A historical short film of the Voyager 2 spacecraft journey. The mission explored Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and interstellar space as it carried a Golden Record containing sounds of Earth. It was a fascinating journey through our solar system and beyond, but the question is... "Why do we explore?"

Director Statement

During my high school years, I created a film about the Cassini mission to Saturn. It was a neat project, but I thought that I did a mediocre job with it. It wasn't until 7 years later that I decided to make another film about a space probe mission. This time, it was about Voyager 2 going beyond the Solar System.

I had a goal to achieve two things with the Voyager production. The first is that I wanted to demonstrate the beauty of the Voyager 2 probe's journey through space. The second is that I wanted to question the audience: "Why do we explore?"

I believe that I was successful with those two goals. Now you need to watch the film to find out if you agree with me. Enjoy!
