Vortex: Vers l'azur
“Vortex: toward the azure” (Вир: до синього) is an abstract videoart piece that traverses an emotional landscape through spiraling motion and evolving sound. It opens in darkness, where restless vortex transformations evoke tension, anxiety, and the relentless churn of inner or outer conflict. The visual turbulence is mirrored by a mechanical, loop-driven soundscape — aggressive and unyielding.
As the piece unfolds, chaos gives way to fluidity. Shapes begin to breathe, colors soften, and golden and azure tones emerge — echoing the hues of the Ukrainian flag. The music shifts, too, evolving into a harmonious, luminous texture. Created entirely by the artist — both image and sound — this work offers a poetic transition from unrest to serenity, from dissonance to balance. A tribute to resilience, beauty, and hope.
