Voices In The Water

VOICES IN THE WATER tells the story of Yago Lange, former Olympic sailor and environmental activist from Argentina, who invites Marcela Witt, Brazilian professional water woman, and Dane Wilson, professional sailor from the USA, to Chubut, Patagonia. They wing-foil together through the stunning coasts, surrounded by a huge variety of wild animals. After a few adventurous and joyful days, they discover an unpleasant surprise.
An estimated 640.000 tons of "ghost gear" enters the ocean every year.
Ghost gear refers to any fishing gear that has been abandoned, lost or otherwise discarded, and is the most harmful form of marine debris.
Unless actual regulations are implemented, this problem will persist. Our intention with this film is to spread the VOICES IN THE WATER.
