The Vision Film Festival is an International Competition based in Italy, with 4 categories:
- Short Film (less than 30 minutes)
- Feature Film (between 60 and 120 minutes)
- Documentary (less than 60 minutes)
- Music Video (less than 6 minutes)

The Official Selection consists of:
- 5 Short Films;
- 5 Music Videos;
- 1 Feature Film;
- 1 Documentary;

In the Live Event at the Don Bosco Cinema in Rome, which can accommodate up to 500 spectators, the Selected Works will be screened.

Some works, even if not selected for screening, may be taken into consideration for submission to buyers of web platforms and television broadcasters, compatibly with any existing distribution agreements, or for screenings in special events.

1. For Short Films, the duration allowed is less than 30 minutes including credits;
2. For Feature Films, the duration allowed is more than 60 minutes, and less than 120 minutes including credits;
3. For Music Videoclip, the duration allowed is less than 6 minutes including credits;
4. For Documentaries, the duration allowed is less than 30 minutes including credits;
5. Works of any kind are admitted. For Videoclip, songs of any musical genre and on any subject are accepted, even not unedited;
6. The minimum resolution must be Full-HD (1920 × 1080 pixels);
7. All works in a language other than Italian must have subtitles in Italian (not only in case of screening, but also in the video provided to participate in the selections);
8. No première status is required, therefore the film can also participate in other competitions and can be published on online platforms at the time of submission, however in case of selection a distribution program will be agreed with the filmmaker compatible with any distributions already in place or already planned;
9. The filmmaker can be of any age, gender and nationality;
10. “Work in progress” is not allowed, therefore only finished and definitive works can be entered;
11. The filmmaker can also submit more than one work. In this case, payment of the submission fee is required for each film submitted and no more than one work per category can be selected;
12. The filmmaker guarantees the lawfulness of the film and declares that all content, including the soundtrack, is free of copyright, freeing the Vision Film Festival and its partners from any claims of any kind related to intellectual property;
13. The jury's decisions on the selected works are unquestionable and the Festival cannot provide feedback;
14. Submission fees are non-refundable, therefore it is important to read the regulation carefully to make sure that your work is compatible with the Festival's requests;
15. Submission for the festival implies complete unconditional acceptance of these regulations and authorization for public viewing of the work, when applicable, and the disclosure of posters and trailers for promotional purposes;
16. Any points not covered by these regulations are the responsibility of the organizer (Vision Channel), while the Court of Rome is competent for any dispute.
