Sean Walker is a director and producer based in Nashville, Tennessee, and a graduate of Lee University’s Cinema program. A multi-award-winning filmmaker with numerous festival selections, his work centers primarily on drama, though he has collaborated with filmmakers in other genres, ranging from crime to comedy. He is committed to exploring the deeper meaning within each story, crafting films that examine character, emotion, and the human condition.
Vestige was my senior thesis film at Lee University, drawing from my strongest creative influences and collaborating with many talented creatives from the Tennessee and Georgia film communities. Vestige's story is one about family. Specifically, learning to love family despite their worst mistakes. This has always been something that has stuck with me for many years, and I felt that this film was my way of expressing my own personal struggles. This film is my letter to those like me who wrestle with family connection, hardship, and forgiveness.
