Come Here

A very musical family gets together to cook a stew on firewood, taking place on the roof of their house. While the gastronomic preparations are being carried out, the musicians leave to the place, each one in their own way crosses the Muisca territory of the town of Suba passing through Corinto "the wetland neighborhood". On arrival, the party gets started with the colors of music, dancing and shared food.

Director Biography

Corintos Club was born in 2016 when Leo Rodríguez and Alber Corredor met to rehearse some musical compositions made years ago, towards the month of February of the year 2018 they invited Sebastian Cely to participated, he is in charge of adding bass to the songs that they have been working and in addition to assembling some covers of Rock and Latin American Salsa. Under this trio format they officially debut on March 3, 2018 with a show called "Acoustic Rock" at the Rock Times bar located in Suba (Bogotá).

From that moment on, the performances continue in different stages of the city, at the end of October Randy Zimmerman joins the choirs and bongoes as a guest percussionist, giving a greater rhythmic identity to the group. After Randy’s brief passage through the city of Bogotá, Memo Malaver joins the band in the percussions adding to the bongoes, the sound of the Peruvian drawer and some shakers. With this quartet format they finish the year 2018, recording the songs Lupe and Vente pa'acá in the studio of the Casa de la Juventud de Los Mártires (CACMA), as well as the Live Session of Fuego Veneno in a self-managed effort with the Colectivo 14 Voces.
In 2019 the band is still linked to CACMA making their rehearsals in the studio of that institution, which provides stability and assembly, added to the incursion of Juan Pablo Vanegas in congas and musical production, he brings a much more complete sound to the band, making a rhythmic base with more Latin flavor. At the end of 2019, Corintos Club took part in different events, the most important, being the “Diversity Festival” in the town of Los Mártires, as well as the recording of the video clip of the song Lupe with the support of Roberto Lozano in the production and audiovisual direction.

2020 was a difficult year worldwide, COVID-19 paralyzed all activities, including music. However Leo Rodríguez musical director of the group continues working and through an Audiovisual Laboratory made in the town of Suba he wrote the script of the video of ”Vente pa'acá (Come Here)”, and was recorded during the first week of December 2020 being directed and written by himself.

Currently the band is resuming rehearsals to return to the stage as soon as possible and give their audience the "Corintian Feeling" that characterizes them with much joy and passion for music.
