Director Statement

Velvicide is a stepping stone to bigger things. I punched out a script I thought I could make in my garage if need be. It turned into something more...
The cast and crew poured so much heart and talent into this project -- it gave it life I could never have dreamed it would bring. Now, we sit with something more than a no-budget first attempt at a feature film. We sit on an emotional roller coaster, seated right next to Velvet (Gea Rose Henry) as her story unfolds and gives us a vivid glimpse into the depravity humans can embrace and attempt to justify.
