With over 30 years of marriage, Vânia and Valéria are a passionate couple who embrace whatever life has to offer. Residents of Parelheiros, in the far south of São Paulo, they fight for the right to healthy food in the outskirts of the city and for a lifestyle in harmony with nature. They are also the mothers of Turma do Nino, which has already rescued over 100 animals.

Isabela da Silva Alves (born September 14, 1997) is a journalist and filmmaker.
She is the founder of the production company Parasita Filmes, dedicated to making films about the outskirts of the extreme south of São Paulo.
Her short films are: Filming In The Hood (2022), Love The Island (2023), The Kite (2023) and Punk from the Periphery (2024). Her films have been shown at 90 festivals and received 18 awards.
