It is in the year 2008 that the professional career of Valeria Galluccio started as a soloist dancer at the Biennale Di Venezia under the artistic direction of Ismael Ivo.

Two years later, she flies to Montréal where she becomes a permanent member of the Compagnie Marie Chouinard as an interpret, while also contributing to the creation of scenic and multimedia works signed by Marie Chouinard in Montréal and internationally.

Known for her long, thin silhouette and a brilliantly nervous and exalted, intimate and facetious
quality of movement, the artist of Italian origin receives, in 2015, the title of Best Italian Performer Abroad by the magazine Danza & Danza. In 2017, she is rewarded by the prestigious prize Positano "Léonide Massine" of the year as an international dancer. In 2019 Valeria receives as well the title of Forefront Italian dancer on the international scene in contemporary dance awarded by the national "Sfera d'Oro per la danza".

In 2019, Valeria creates her first choreography, the solo she's moving shown at the Nuovo theatre in Naples. In 2020-2021, she agains works as a choreographer and performer for the 360° virtual reality danse film Tavata, released in 2022 as part of the nordic festival FIKA(S).

In 2023, she creates her own dance film, LUCE, where she assumes the roles of ideator, choreographer, director and performer.
The film "LUCE" won the first prize at the Cinedanza festival, the creativity prize at the DDFF and the "Marilena Riccio" prize at the Immagina international dance festival..
