Director Statement

MONSTER was created for women with rage. I wanted this film to show the underrepresented side of feminine anger, which is so often controlled, trivialized, and dismissed. MONSTER's feminine scream is the ultimate collaboration of my peers real voices, a sound designed to frighten and empower. I am proud to have generated a space with this film for women to connect to their rage and feel monstrous.
