Brooklyn Braaten is an up and coming screenwriter and director. A native of the Pacific Northwest, she attended and graduated from Central Washington University with a BA in Film Production.
Brooklyn's debut film, V-CARD, just wrapped post-production and is currently being submitted to festivals. Although Brooklyn's film career is just blossoming, she is no stranger to art and design. Brooklyn has extensive experience in photography, media, design and videography, and she currently serves as a media director and assistant designer for Function & Flair Design in Vancouver, Washington.
Director's quote: "The greatest lesson I learned in school was how to collaborate with others, and why it's so important. There is no joy in filmmaking without team camaraderie and joint creativity."
Brooklyn has been accepted to the graduate screenwriting program at Edinburgh Napier University and will be attending for the Fall 2023 semester and she is beyond excited for more days of filming and nights of brainstorming with other wonderful artists.
