Writer Statement

When I was still very young, I had big dreams. I wanted to be a movie director. Due to common sense, I changed that towards being a writer. I could be writing books and I could be writing for the movies. Nowadays I do both, so thank you common sense. I love to combine fantasy with reality. Thanks to my here Steven Spielberg I always write in a visual way. I admire M. Night Shyamalan for his twist endings, so many of my scripts have one too. Not as a gimmick, but more as an extension of the told story, if it needs one. I also write on a (small) budget as I love to challenge myself.
