Unveiling Hour
A Turkish immigrant family in New York grapples with unspoken tensions and cultural expectations that stifle their ability to connect. Through the eyes of Suzan, who stands between her husband and daughter, the film delves into the intricate dance of change and resistance, capturing their journey as they strive to break the silence that has long defined their relationships.

Zeynep Su Sezgin is a filmmaker and photographer born and raised in Turkey. She has recently graduated from Pratt Institute with a major in Film/Video and a minor in Psychology.
She values creating complex characters in her films to challenge herself and her audience to see things from a different perspective, as sometimes things aren’t just black and white; she likes staying in the gray area. She aims to work on projects that enable the audience to find something they can relate to and feel a little less lonely and a little more understood.
