Lidia Huerta is a Peruvian-Catalan Filmmaker who’s multi-faceted creative industry experience spans work as a Director, Casting Associate, Talent Agent, Content Producer and her international Photography exhibitions. Since graduating with a masters degree from Central Saint Martins, she has worked consistently to bring impactful, human-centred stories to life. Her most recent project was working for British TV/Film company ‘Fulwell 73’ on a soon-to-be-released documentary series.
Jacob Dudman is a Filmmaker from Yorkshire. By the age of 18, he was producing content for the likes of the BBC and Lionsgate, following his success building a following for his sketches on YouTube. He is now known internationally for his roles in various Netflix series (The Last Kingdom, The Stranger, FATE:The Winx Saga to name a few). In early 2023 he set up ‘HG4 Productions’, named lovingly after the postcode he grew up in.
The two met studying Film together at University of The Arts London in 2016, and have been best friends ever since.
Having met with survivors of modern slavery, and the people working tirelessly to help them build new lives, we are honoured to take this film to festivals.
We hope audiences come away wanting to educate themselves on the issues of forced labour, and reflect upon how we treat marginalised members of society.
