Unknown
In a tense and chilling night in the desert, Melissa, a young woman dressed for a night out, finds herself stranded when her SUV breaks down on a desolate road. As she waits for help, she grapples with feelings of isolation and frustration, ultimately deciding to text her friend Jim for a ride. When Jim arrives, their awkward reunion quickly escalates into a heated argument about Melissa's recent party attendance at her ex-boyfriend Matt's house.
As they drive away, an unsettling presence looms in the darkness. The truck suddenly dies, leaving them vulnerable in the eerie silence of the desert. Strange sounds and a dark shape outside the vehicle heighten their fear, culminating in a terrifying encounter with a monstrous creature. In a desperate fight for survival, Jim and Melissa must confront their past and the horror that has emerged from the shadows.
As they attempt to escape, the creature attacks, leading to a frantic struggle. Just when they think they’ve escaped, the nightmare escalates, culminating in a shocking and brutal twist that leaves both characters—and the audience—reeling from the horror of the night.

Creating Unknown has been a remarkable journey. It all began with the desire to produce a unique short film as part of the Horror Remix series. From the initial script development, casting local talent like Joseph Kyler and Feather McGuire, to scouting the perfect location along a remote dirt road, every step brought the vision closer to reality.
The filming process was an intense yet exciting experience, capturing eerie moments against the desolate backdrop of the Arizona desert. Our cast and crew, a blend of newcomers and experienced professionals, worked tirelessly to bring this horror tale to life. From battling unexpected weather conditions to creatively improvising on set, we turned challenges into opportunities for cinematic magic.
The storyline of Unknown revolves around Jim and Melissa, whose fateful encounter with the Abyssal Wardens (demonic creatures) creates a mysterious and gripping narrative. These creatures emerge from the darkness, capturing the pair, and leaving viewers questioning their fate. The unsettling environment of the dirt road plays an integral role in the film, adding to the isolation and fear the characters face.
The passion and hard work from everyone involved will soon be seen on screen, and we're thrilled to continue this journey with the Horror Remix series.
