Mateo Nikolav is a freelance multimedia producer currently based in Los Angeles, CA. As an artist, he enjoys photography, memoir writing and film editing.
Born in Ecuador and living abroad since he was 14, he's been lucky enough to meet & photograph individuals in various countries, gathering thousands of their stories and assimilating to different cultures constantly with joy.
His projects focus on the human condition and the search for truth within ourselves.
My first short film Unbound was born for the fundamental (yet undervalued) need to disconnect from society’s expectations and reconnect with nature and our true selves. For learning to look introspectively will ultimately help us better understand and help our society.
