L’Histoire Peut Mourir Sur Un Balcon à Fleurs
Set in a 13th-century aristocratic townhouse, L’Histoire Peut Mourir Sur Un Balcon À Fleurs explores the human traces left on a building when it is no longer in use.
Using found objects and physical performance the work imagines lost inhabitants of the building. Architecture is the protagonist here, where glimpses of humanity are only caught in unusual reflections or a silhouette passing through the frames like ghostly apparitions.
L’Histoire Peut Mourir Sur Un Balcon À Fleurs is a cinematic meditation on the role of architecture in our communities and how it can inform collective memory.
