Hulon's start as a creative began in 1993, photographing clay animation stills, creative design (digital/print), and photo editing. After graduating Tulane University in Communications/Media Arts in 2005, he moved to Los Angeles to begin working with film companies, specializing in work with infomercials, commercials, music videos, and indie shorts. In 2016, he won Outlaw Film Festival's "Best Local Music Video" award, for his work with Grammy Award winner Howard Hewett, which features music producer and touring artist (for Blood, Sweat & Tears and Smokey Robinson) Gary Foote, and his father performing under his namesake. Hulon is CEO of Premier Musique Group, a division of Bungalo Records/Universal Music Group and is in pre-production for a film and TV series thru 825 Studios.
From start to finish -- music recording to film development -- my late father and I worked on the creation of this project tirelessly. Working with such musical greats as Gary Foote (bassist for Blood, Sweat & Tears) and Howard Hewett (Grammy Award winner from Shalamar) made the song rich and soulful. This collaboration is what ultimately made my father break new barriers in his musical career, crossing into R&B from Jazz, moreover increased his fanbase. I am eternally grateful for the co-direction of Mu2 Productions, whom portrayed the ideal cinematic style and work ethic that we at Premier Musique Group (Bungalo / UMG) and Cold Weather Films desired.
