A retro TV Time Machine shows visions of SOLEIL to NOCTURNE. The cosmic soul-saviour must guide her true twin-flame through a dreamlike quest across their past and future incarnations of alternate lifetimes spent together in utter unrest yet utopian unison. Natasha Zaman is an emerging Bangladeshi filmmaker with a background in writing, editing, and visual art. Her work centres on psychologically complex female characters and blends grounded emotion with surreal, atmospheric world-building. Turquoise Dream marks her semi-autobiographical feature script and showcases her voice as an auteur dedicated to cross-cultural, boundary-breaking storytelling–which has garnered a nomination from the Montreal Women Film Festival (2026) for Best Feature Screenplay.
Accurate representation of the human race in pop culture is very important to me because it affects every one of us. I want social equality and justice for the future generations. I am a future filmmaker working on building a career in cinema and television. I aim to generate art that will connect with human beings to promote intersectionality and undifferentiated unity.
